Jaguar E-Types are cars that respond superbly to tasteful upgrading and personalization. This one is at Northshore Imports for just shy of $70,000, which is a full but fair retail price for such a nicely done car. This one has been done very well, with 5-speed transmission, alloy wheels, and triple Webers. There are likely many other upgrades (such as brakes and suspension) that the car has, but that the seller does not mention. The only point to nitpick is the side mirrors, which would be nicer if they were Talbot or other period chromed items. Throw on some European amber front and rear turn signal lenses, and the exterior would be perfect.
The interior is lightly modified, and the contrasting dark blue piping and carpet are probably not the original color combination with the gray. Nevertheless, they look very smart and add a quality custom feel. The steering wheel is a bit too sporty and modern, especially since the original wood wheels of these cars are icons in their own right. The harness appear to be quality items and look like they mean business.
The engine is quite impressive. The gold paint on the cylinder head is correct but just about everything else looks to have been upgraded, from the spark plug wires to the carburetors and air filters to the radiator and full stainless fuel lines with aeroquip fittings.

Though this car is on the dear side, it would be considerably more expensive (not to mention time consuming) to replicate. The colors and mods are just right on this one, and the car must be much nicer to drive than a stock example as well.
