Current Projects at The Motoring Enthusiast

Current Porsche projects at TME include the following cars, all of which will be for sale in the future:
Slate Grey 1966 912 December 1965 production, factory slate grey/red car with matching numbers. The car is apart for paint and is getting a motor rebuild. Still several months from completion.
Irish Green 1967 912 Factory Irish green car getting a complete motor rebuild and repaint.
Burgundy 1968 911 Factory burgundy car, matching-numbers, getting a thorough going over mechanically and cosmetically. Estimated to be available (more…)
Porsche Projects

Lots of Porsche projects at TME, including the following cars, which will all be for sale in the future:
1966 912 Factory slate grey car that’s apart for paint. Motor is all apart with the heads getting rebuilt.
1968 912 Factory white 1-owner 59,000 mile black plate California car. Just freshened mechanically and will get sympathetic cosmetic detailing. Estimated to be available for purchase in November 2013.
1968 911 Factory burgundy car, matching-numbers, getting a thorough going over mechanically and cosmetically. Estimated to be available (more…)
Coming Soon at The Motoring Enthusiast: 2006 Ferrari F430 Coupe

Coming soon at The Motoring Enthusiast is this 4400 mile 6-speed (not F1!) 2006 Ferrari F430 Coupe. Heavily but tastefully optioned and finished, this car is immaculate and has been fastidiously cared for.

Coming Soon at The Motoring Enthusiast: 1957 Jaguar XK140SE OTS Roadster

Coming soon at The Motoring Enthusiast is this lovely Jaguar XK140 SE OTS Roadster, which is an original C-Type cylinder head car. The car has been nicely restored and has seen much recent mechanical sorting (in excess of $25,000 in the last five years) and is a terrific driving example.

Miura Restoration Update

Two significant-ish items of news: the engine assembly is complete, and the front end of the chassis bodywork is is nearly complete. We have both Weber and PMO carburetors, and will run both setups on the dyno to establish if there are any performance differences between the two setups. With the front end of the chassis just about complete, the next part to tackle is the middle section. The front was the most deteriorated, so there have been minor sighs or relief all around.
