Description
This is a great 912 from the last year of production, which was also the first year of the long wheelbase 911/912 chassis. This particular car has been in California since at least 1991, possibly longer, and is structurally excellent, with unusually nice original floor pans, and a very straight body. It was recently repainted by Dink Farmer, and has had much recent sorting by its current owner, who is a collector with many interesting 356s. The car has recently been detailed and fitted with all new lenses, H4 headlamps, new tires, new windscreen, and new trunk carpet. The car has also been fitted with H4 headlamps. It runs and drives superbly and is ready to enjoy.
Originally Tangerine in color, this car is in great cosmetic condition with high quality paint over nice straight panels. The paint has very few blemishes, with just a few chips that have been touched up. The chrome is likely original and is excellent considering this with light pitting and scratching but strong overall presentation. The glass is excellent across the board, and the wheels are in beautiful shape. The original floor pans are excellent, being both solid, free of corrosion, and very clean. The interior appears to be original other than the upholstery on the front seats and the door panels, which have been converted to RS door panels. The carpets show some wear, including a hole in the dead pedal area. The dashboard is excllent with no cracks or warping, and the instruments and switches are original and well-preserved with some patina. The top is in excellent shape.
