Tidy Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 to Enjoy
June 5th, 2009
This 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV is available from Good Stuff Auto in Santa Rosa, CA for $17,500. It is a tidy and attractive car that the seller importantly notes is free of rust. It looks nice with yellow inner lamps and 5-spoke Cromadora wheels, though it could stand to be lowered. The car has a nice stock appearance and appears to be a perfect example to use and enjoy regularly, perhaps even as a periodic daily driver if the car works as nicely as the seller reports.

Video: Legendary Drivers, Legendary Track, Legendary Car!
June 2nd, 2009
This vintage film from the mid 1960’s brings absolute legends together: 1939 Grand Prix Champion Hermann Lang drives the 1937 Mercedes-Benz W125 Grand Prix car at the Nurburgring while 1962 Sports Car Champion Graham Hill narrates. Powered by a supercharged 5.7 liter inline-8 producing over 640hp, the W125 was the world’s most powerful car by far in 1937, and would not be surpassed for decades until the arrival of Can Am cars in the 1960’s. It was not until the 1980’s that Formula 1 cars reached this level of power again!

Holy 470hp 6.5 liter V12 E-Type Roadster Batman!
May 31st, 2009
This 1974 Jaguar E-Type V12 Roadster is available on Ebay and has a documented 6.5 liter 470hp V12 engine, and a host of other mechanical upgrades, all wrapped in a deceptive stock appearing package. The other upgrades include 5-speed gearbox, full suspension upgrades, and brake upgrades, to create what must be a completely different animal from the standard 12-cylinder E-Type, which has a decidedly grand touring bent to it. The Buy-it-now is just shy of $50,000, which is a terrific bargain considering the work, development, and money that has gone into this car.
