Porsche Factory Tour Video From the Early 1960’s

This is a totally awesome video made at the Porsche factory, depicting the production of the 356 in high detail. They are T5 body 356B’s, indicating that the video was made between 1959 and 1961. The cars were, to a large extent, made by hand, as the title “Made by Hand” suggests.

Coming soon at The Motoring Enthusiast is this spectacular 1988 Porsche Carrera 3.2 Coupe. It has been fastidiously owned by its perfectionist owner, and has covered 62,000 miles from new. It has recently had an engine rebuild at a cost of $14,000, which included porting, polishing, cams, and the fitment of SSI heat exchangers, M&K muffler, and Steve Wong chip. The car has been lowered and corner weighted with Bilstein shock absorbers, and also has RUF pedals and 930S steering wheel. The car also has H4 headlamps and 7″ and 8″ color-coded Fuchs with polished lips and color crests.

Lamborghini Miura Restoration Update April 2010

It’s been a while, but a few more things have gotten done. The bodywork is continuing, with some new sections fabricated in the front. The gearbox has been reassembled and all four Webers have been rebuilt as well. The engine is essentially finished, with the heads on and the valves adjusted and the timing set. The brake master cylinder, steering rack, steering column, and pedal assembly have also been rebuilt. The water pump, window motors/regulators, and hubs have also been rebuilt.
